Volunteer Support Service
The Sensory Resource & Development Service coordinates a volunteer support service in Shropshire for anyone with a hearing aid.
Audiology and hearing clinics throughout Shropshire refer clients who need support and advice using their aids to SRDS. The service then organises a Support Worker to visit the client in their home to help them adjust to their hearing loss.
All of the Support Workers have a hearing loss and are highly trained. The service is always looking for new volunteers, and the time you give is completely up to you.
