Olive Fish retires from the
Sensory Impairment Team

Olive Fish retired towards the end of June 2009 following almost 25 years service with Shropshire (County) Council, working with people who have a Sensory Impairment. During this time, Olive worked in various roles including as a craft instructor for the Blind; and more recently as a Technical Officer for  Hearing Impaired People.

Her many years of dedication and hard work have been hugely important to the development of community based services within Shropshire for people with a hearing impairment, and Olive will be sorely missed by all her colleagues. Her retirement celebration was held at St Nicholas Hall, Shrewsbury on June 26th and was well attended by colleagues both past and present.
