The Shropshire Insight Group

The Shropshire Insight Group is a group of younger visually-impaired people established in 1989.

The group has a wealth of experience of living with the impairment and offers this as a resource for the public, private and voluntary sector to use to improve their services.  Parents who have a visually-impaired child will also find the group useful to assist in their parenting role and as role models.

The Group have visited Snowdonia, Malvern Hills, Liverpool, York, Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, London Theatres, amongst other places and in 2009 will be celebrating our 20th anniversary, of the Group coming into being in 1989.   We are hoping to celebrate in style, maybe organizing a trip into Europe to visit visually-impaired people there.

Please phone Janet or Phil to ensure that the meeting is taking place, the Group participate in a number of events and this may mean cancelling certain meetings.
